About CarNarc

Roads are full of cameras now — dashcams, doorbells, phones. CarNarc turns that footage into accountability.

How it works

See a red-light runner, a reckless pass, a handicap-spot squatter? Upload the clip, tag the violation type and location, and it joins the feed and the map. The community votes on what matters. You can post under your username or anonymously — your call, per clip.

Points and bounties

Every upload earns points, and clips earn more as they collect upvotes and views. Points are an early stake in the platform: as CarNarc's road-safety data becomes a real product, points convert into real payouts. Some reports carry bounties — extra rewards for footage of specific incidents or areas.

Why it matters

Insurers price risk with almost no visibility into how people actually drive. Cities can't see where near-misses cluster until someone gets hurt. Crowdsourced, geotagged violation data fills that gap — and the people who capture it should share in its value.

For insurers, fleets, and public agencies

CarNarc is building the first crowdsourced, geotagged dataset of real-world driving violations — incident type, location, time, and community-validated severity. If that data could sharpen your risk models, hot-spot analysis, or enforcement planning, we'd like to talk: admin@carnarc.net — or leave your details:
